Living with an Australian family allows you to see a side of Australia that you might not get to see otherwise – that of regular family life in Australia. Homestay in Brisbane is cheaper than in most other Australian cities, and has a very high standard of accommodation.
All of our homestay families have been selected because they have a genuine interest in International students, and will make you feel welcome from the very beginning. They understand what you are going through learning (and living in!) English, are patient and caring, and will do their best to help you with your English. ‘Full Board Homestay’ means that you get breakfast and an evening meal on weekdays, and 3 meals on weekends. You will have your own room (unless you request to share), with at least a wardrobe and desk, and bed linen is provided. When you apply for a homestay you will be asked to complete a questionnaire so that we can try to find the homestay that best suits you.
There is a one-off homestay arrangement fee to be paid at the time of enrolment, but payment for the homestay will be directly to them upon arrival (with a minimum stay of 4 weeks).
